A new home, a new programming schedule, and a decade-old identity ready for its next chapter. BX1's move to Brussels' Mediapark district, alongside the likes of VRT and RTBF, was the perfect moment to rethink everything. We were brought in to build a design system from the ground up, one that could stretch across TV, daily news, radio, socials, and original programming.
Apart from keeping the old pink, we went for a full restart. As core,he square from the new logo acts as a viewfinder onto the many facets of Brussels, a diverse, contrasting city in constant motion. A few visual elements and signature movements could cover everything: program logos, title sequences, lower thirds, credit rolls, location graphics, and more. One consistent motion language, now live across 10+ programmes, the daily news, and radio, delivering a significantly stronger brand presence.
