VLAM - What is bio?
Challenge
VLAM needed an educational package about organic farming for 5th and 6th grade primary students that would be clear, engaging, and easy for teachers to implement. The challenge was creating a cohesive visual system across multiple formats. Four 3-5 minute educational videos, a worksheet bundle, and a board game. That could make complex agricultural processes (like farm cycles and living soil) accessible and appealing to young adolescents.
Solution
We developed a ‘mini-brand system’ with a unified visual language spanning all educational materials. Fonts, palettes and an illustration style which works for small game-tiles, as well as large animated infographics. Within the first month, the package was acquired by over 40 schools, exported to the Dutch school system, and translated for the Walloon community. It received sector-wide recognition, being shared by KlasCement and Klasse, and distributed through BioForum, Boerenbond & Rikolto.
